Group Travel, Done Right

The best group trips don't happen by accident. They're designed.

Group travel is the most rewarding kind — and the most logistically complex. Finding accommodation that works for everyone, balancing different preferences, managing different energy levels. The planning can be overwhelming before anyone's even agreed on a destination.

We take all of that off the group. One conversation with us and the planning is underway — we handle the logistics, the accommodation, the activities, and every detail in between. Your group just has to show up.

We've been designing custom trips for 25 years. Group trips are some of the most memorable we plan — the ones people talk about for decades.

Our Approach

Group travel has its own dynamics. We design around them.

Built Around the Occasion
A 40th birthday trip looks different from a reunion trip, which looks different from a "we've been saying we'd do this for years" trip. The occasion shapes the destination, the tone, the pace, and the experiences we design around it. We start by understanding what this trip is for.
Accommodation That Works for Groups
Finding the right accommodation for a group is one of the hardest parts of planning group travel. We know which properties have the right configurations — private villas with shared spaces, boutique hotels that can take a full group, places where everyone has their own space but the group can be together. This is where experience makes the biggest difference.
Managing Different Preferences
Every group has a range of people — the one who wants to go out every night and the one who wants a quiet beach day. The adventurous one and the one who just wants good food. We design itineraries with enough structure to keep everyone happy and enough flexibility for people to do their own thing when they want to.
Transparent on Cost
Different budgets within the same group is one of the most common challenges in group travel. We're completely transparent about costs from the first conversation and help the group find an approach that works for everyone — shared costs for the essentials, flexibility on extras.
Support Throughout
Our team is available via WhatsApp throughout your entire trip. If a restaurant booking falls through, a transfer needs changing, or the group wants to add something spontaneous — we sort it. Groups are more complex than individual travel. Having someone on call makes a real difference.
Flexible Payment Plans
We offer flexible payment plans so you can lock in your group trip and pay towards it gradually. Given that coordinating payment across a group can be complicated, we work with you to find an approach that makes the financial side of things as straightforward as possible.

Group Destinations

Eight places that work brilliantly for groups — and why.

The best destination for a group depends on the group. Here's our honest take on what each of these places offers and the kind of group it's best suited for.

Vietnam Best for: curious groups · street food · extraordinary landscapes

Vietnam is a group trip that everyone comes home talking about. The street food adventure of Ho Chi Minh City, the lantern-lit streets of Hội An, two nights on a junk boat on Ha Long Bay. Groups who want genuine discovery rather than a beach holiday do brilliantly here — it rewards curiosity and delivers the kind of shared experiences that become group legends.

Bali Best for: all group types · private villas · beach & culture mix

Bali is one of the world's great group destinations — private villas with pools that give a group their own space, a natural split between Ubud's culture and the beach clubs of Seminyak, and a price point that makes a genuinely luxurious group trip affordable. Works for almost every kind of group at almost every age.

Thailand Best for: beach groups · city energy · incredible food

Thailand delivers everything a group needs — Bangkok's energy for the first few days, then the islands for beach time. The food is extraordinary, the nightlife is there for those who want it, and the beaches are beautiful. A natural group trip structure: city, then coast, then islands. One of the most consistently loved group destinations we design.

Greece Best for: celebration trips · island hopping · long taverna dinners

Greece is the Mediterranean group trip — island hopping by ferry, long dinners at tavernas overlooking the Aegean, sunsets that justify the whole journey. Santorini for the drama, a quieter island for the proper Greek experience. Works particularly well for milestone birthday trips where the setting needs to feel genuinely special.

Spain Best for: food & culture groups · city nights · beach finales

Spain has an energy that suits groups perfectly — the late nights, the tapas bars, the markets, the beach clubs of the Balearics. Madrid or Barcelona for the city opening, then Mallorca or Menorca for the beach close. The food culture alone justifies the trip. Groups who love eating and drinking well tend to love Spain more than anywhere.

Portugal Best for: relaxed groups · wine lovers · golden coastline

Portugal suits groups who want a slightly more relaxed pace — Lisbon's beautiful streets and rooftop bars, the Douro Valley for a wine experience, the Algarve's dramatic golden clifftop coastline. Less overwhelming than Spain, still extraordinarily good food and wine, and a warmth to the culture that makes group travel here feel genuinely enjoyable.

Costa Rica Best for: active groups · wildlife & adventure · Pacific coast

Costa Rica is for groups who want to do things. Zip-lining through cloud forest, surfing the Pacific coast, spotting wildlife, white-water rafting. The activity options are extraordinary and the country is safe and easy to navigate. Works brilliantly for groups with an adventurous streak who want a trip that feels genuinely different from a beach holiday.

Colombia Best for: adventurous groups · Caribbean coast · Medellín's energy

Colombia is for groups who want a trip nobody else in their circle has done. Medellín's transformation and mountain-city energy, the colonial streets and Caribbean warmth of Cartagena, the hammock beaches of the Caribbean coast. The country is genuinely extraordinary to travel through right now — and a group trip here tends to be the one people talk about for years.

Why Free & Easy

Your group trip deserves someone who handles the details.

We Know Group Travel
The accommodation that actually works for a group of 8. The restaurants that can take a large table without making you feel like a corporate event. The experiences that work when you're travelling with people who have different energy levels and preferences. After 25 years, we know what group travel actually requires — and we design for it.
One Point of Contact
Instead of 8 people trying to coordinate 8 sets of bookings, one person in the group talks to us. We handle everything from there — accommodation, transfers, activities, restaurant reservations, and all the logistics that make group travel complicated. Your job is to keep everyone excited about the trip.
Available via WhatsApp
Our team is available throughout your entire trip. If a booking needs changing, a transfer falls through, or the group spontaneously decides to extend somewhere by a day — we sort it. Having someone on call is particularly valuable when you're responsible for a group of people rather than just yourself.
Flexible Payment Plans
We offer flexible payment plans so you can lock in your group trip and spread the cost over time. Coordinating payment across a group can be complicated — we work with you to make the financial side as straightforward as possible so the conversation stays on the trip rather than the logistics.

What Groups Say

Group trips they'll talk about forever.

We have used their services on 4 different vacations. I would have to rate all of the trips 10/10 or higher. The planning is great, they take their time to gain an understanding of what we wanted. Even when there are unforeseen travel glitches — delayed flights, ferries — they are always on it before we even realise an issue. Highly recommend.

Rob Bell · 2025

Very responsive and very knowledgeable. They helped me and my partner plan a private trip to Greece and tailored it to our liking. They were with us through text the whole way — whenever we needed help booking taxis on the fly. Couldn't have asked for a better trip.

Common Questions

Everything you need to know.

We design group trips for groups of all sizes — from 4 people to 20 or more. The logistics change significantly depending on the size, and we adjust the approach accordingly. Smaller groups have more flexibility; larger groups need more lead time and more careful coordination of accommodation and activities.
This is one of the most common challenges in group travel and one we handle carefully. We can design trips with a shared baseline — accommodation, transfers, key experiences — and then give individuals flexibility on extras like dining and optional activities. We're transparent about costs from the start and help the group find an approach that works for everyone.
Milestone birthdays (30th, 40th, 50th) are the most common. Anniversary trips and reunion trips are close behind. We also design group trips for people who've been saying they'd travel together for years and have finally committed to making it happen. The occasion shapes the destination and the tone of the trip — we design around it.
It depends on the group. Beach-focused groups love Bali, Thailand, and the Spanish and Portuguese coasts. Culture-focused groups do brilliantly in Vietnam, Colombia, and Greece. Active groups love Costa Rica. We'll ask the right questions to find the destination that works for your specific group.
As early as possible. Group travel requires more lead time than individual travel — finding accommodation that fits everyone, reserving larger tables, coordinating flights. Six months is comfortable; 9-12 months gives you the most options. That said, we've put together excellent group trips on shorter timelines when needed.
