The Rice Terraces of Batad

Lifetime friend and long time group leader, Matt Sawatsky (aka Dr. Swatman), has been making videos of our Free and Easy experiences for a couple of years now. Here's his latest one which focuses on the village of Batad in the Philippines. The group takes a night bus from Manilla, then a jeepney ride through the hills, then a 3 hour hike and you arrive at this little village located amongst thousands of rice paddies. Then after walking through the rice paddies you are treated to one of the most spectacular waterfall to cool off in. It's amazing.
