Caramoan
Traveling to Caramoan, we stray far off the beaten path to
find a hidden gem of the Philippines with secluded islands, white sand beaches,
and aqua seas all to ourselves.
In the past 3 years, ‘Survivor’ France and ‘Survivor’ Sweden have both
filmed seasons amongst these islands, and there is no doubt why they chose
them. Each island seems more
gorgeous than the next, and some are not much more than a white sand beach and
rock cropping out from the sea. They
are the perfect places for games on the beach and for a group to laze a day
away.
There are no accommodations on the islands, so we start off early from Caramoan town and island hop to several of these secluded paradises. If weather permits, then we’ll camp overnight on our own island and have a ‘Survivor’ adventure of our own! Our guides set up a beach BBQ and bring coolers to keep drinks ice cold, and we get an island experience like no other.
