Pangandaran, Java
After a quick stay in Jakarta we will head to Java’s premier beach area. Pangandaran is home to a stretch of pristine volcanic black sand beach that runs far past the town and into an endless, completely secluded beach paradise. Pangandaran Beach is wide and flat making it an ideal location for beach games like frisbee, Football, soccer, skim boarding etc. There is also a nice beach break ideal for beginner surfers either trying surfing for the first time or practicing there moves.
A quick walk down the beach will take you to Taman Nasional Pangandaran - a national park formed by a narrow peninsula between two long sweeping beach bays. In the park you can go on nature walks to see a variety of Monkeys, Birds, Lizards, Flora and Fauna. Also in the park is a stretch of white sand beach with a stunning snorkeling spot just a short swim off of the beach.
