The Gili Islands
Off of the north west corner of Lombok,in the crystal clear waters of the Bali Sea there are three picturesque islands that have gained a reputation for their excellent beaches, amazing sea life (with regular encounters of sea turtles and manta rays) and easy going atmosphere. This is a place to kick back and enjoy a perfect tropical paradise complete with the comforts of excellent international food, and a fun island night life.
There is also plenty of opportunity to explore the islands on a boat trip, dive package, or just going for a walk around the island. There are no taxis here but if you are feeling lazy you can always take a horse and buggy! This is an ideal place to soak up the island living during the day, and the laidback party atmosphere at night. Scuba diving and Snorkeling spots are located all around the islands and offer a amazing underwater sights and some of the clearest water that we have ever experienced!
