Trip Summary

Our Greece & Turkey trip is essentially a 40-day circuit around the Mediterranean, but split into 2 equally amazing 20-day trips.  For those who have the time and budget for the full 40-day experience, the trips flow smoothly together and provide a great journey from start to end.  For those who are looking for something shorter we have two equally amazing trips packed full of beauty, culture, chill, adventure, party and history - a true travel experience from start to finish!

The First 20-days: 

Visit Greece & Turkey.   Athens, and 3 Greek Islands for 2 weeks, and Turkey for 6 days.

-In Athens trace back the roots of Western culture visiting the 2500-year-old Acropolis, Parthenon, and ancient ruins. 
-Travel by ferry out to the islands, and see the magnificent volcanic island Santorini.  Relax in a quaint Greek town with black sand beaches and enjoy the slow pace of living on the islands.
-Stay right at a beautiful white sand beach and party it up in paradise on Ios! 
-Explore the abundance of fun and majestic locations in Rhodes island…From windsurfing meccas along a massive sand bar, to a vibrant town encompassed by fortress walls, Rhodes will be our last spot to enjoy the pleasures of Greece.
-Then cross over by boat to the SW coast of Turkey, and experience that gorgeous and historical region of Turkey for 6-7 days….We’ll visit the best preserved ancient city from the Classical period, and indulge in the food, drink and delights of Turkey. 

We’ll end off the first 20-day portion of the trip with days hanging out along the Mediterranean at a beautiful white sand beach with aqua seas.

The Second 20-days of the Trip:

Visit Turkey only for 20-days
-Continue traveling South in Turkey to some of the countries most beautiful and remote beaches - backpacker favorites. 
-Take a 4-day boat cruise around the SW corner of the Mediterranean coast.
-Arrive in the Ancient village of Olimpos where Tree House Resorts have taken over close to a sensational beach.
-Then after 2 weeks along the southwest coast, we take a bus deeper into the center of Turkey and to an area of one of the world’s quirkiest and other-worldly landscapes - Cappadocia
-Then lastly, on to Istanbul, one of the world’s great cities without a doubt.  More than 3000 years of continuous history, and a guesthouse right in the middle of it all. 
-Shopping at the Grand Bazarre and exploring Istanbul for 3 days will bring an end to both the 20-day and 40-day trips.
