1 – 3 week ‘Cloud 9’ Surf Extensions

On our 40-day Philippines trip, we spend more than a week set up right in front of this beautiful surf break….and NOW we want to make it easily accessible to our Thailand travelers that want to add a surf trip to your S.E. Asia adventure! These extensions do not include a Free & Easy leader to travel with you, but instead are an independent travel extension where we will coordinate the following for you:

-create your travel itinerary (for the length of time you choose…feel free to extend beyond!) *
-book and pay for all flights and transport from Bangkok, to the Philippines, to Cloud 9, and your return trip home.
-reserve and pay for you to stay in the perfect surf bungalow of your choice – various options/facilities available.
-set you up with a reputable surf guide and a surfboard**
-provide you with a cell phone and number for ease of contact with home, Free & Easy staff, and any other local friends or businesses. (Pay as you go system, so you pay for what you use.)
-provide you with a Free & Easy guidebook of the area – maps, activities, phone numbers, restaurants, internet, parties, bars, etc…
-get you surfing before you know it!....(And meanwhile enjoying one of the most incredible tropical islands imaginable.)

Essentially what we are providing is access to one of S.E. Asia’s most enjoyable and still undiscovered island destinations. You get to be an independent traveler, but we’ve coordinated all complexities of travel planning, and given you all our tips and best advice for how you can enjoy your experience to the fullest. It is a ‘can’t miss’ way to have an amazing surf trip, and even if you don’t want to surf, you would still have an incredible time on this island. There are more than 30 secluded islands with white sand beaches – some with caves and lagoons - all within a short and inexpensive boat ride.

*Additional destinations and stopovers within the Philippines can be included in your itinerary for a minimal cost.
**you will arrange to pay for guide and surfboard depending on your need and use. About $10 - $25/day.

* We can include extra flights for an additional cost - if you come from another destination.
***Let us assure you that this is not too long for one destination. It is the perfect relaxation destination, and lots more than just surfing. People come for a week and end up staying 4 months.

Please note: Flights do not run to Siargao in the Philippines 7 days/week. There may be a few days of additional accommodation required in Bangkok or Cebu before or after your Cloud 9 Surf trip that you will be responsible for paying for.
