Boracay

From the depths of our plunge into the remote areas of this country, the group will re-emerge with a trip to Boracay Island – the quintessential beach destination in the Philippines. This is the beach that every Filipino has heard of and dreamt about, and with good reason. It is a tiny island with a huge stretch of beach. Over 7km of soft, powder white sand is contrasted with the most aqua blue water you might EVER see. It has been voted ‘World’s Most Beautiful Beach’ by various polls, and while sitting out with your feet in the sand watching another spectacular sunset, you could hardly deny its truth.

As well as being a tropical paradise, Boracay is a shopping and dining paradise! Walking the long stretch of beach and shopping, exploring, and indulging in the luxuries is a great treat for 4-days. You can also stay active with sailing trips, kite-boarding courses, scuba diving, jet skiing, para-sailing, yoga classes, or an atv adventure.

When the sun goes down, the nightlife heats up and a walk down the beach usually leads to grooving with the drum circles at Rasta bars, and dancing and partying at one of the many outdoor clubs. You can be sure that Boracay is never short on excitement – an essential stop in the Philippines.  But after our enjoyable stay, we hop back on the backpacker trail to more hidden treasures.
