About Us

Free & Easy traveler is a group of friends and family who all share a love of traveling.   It all began back in 2000 when Curtis Smith, at the age of 20, decided that he wanted to share this love with other people looking for an eye-opening, safe, fun and adventurous travel experience. Now in the year 2010 Curtis has the help of a team of over 30 people and has brought over 1600 travelers on some of the best experiences of their lives! (more on our company history)

Our home offices are in Calgary and Edmonton, Alberta in Canada but through the facilitation of the internet often our office is wherever our backpacks and laptops take us.  We are travelers after all!

We do have one man....the family man, Rob Campbell, who stays back in Edmonton and makes sure that our customer care is second to none with our attention to your personal inquiries in getting ready for your adventure.  We also have a network of 30+ associates and representatives throughout North America and SE Asia making sure that we maintain the highest level of quality control in the design and running of our adventures.
